My second photo idea is finally done! This is Danielle, a wonderful makeup artist you will be seeing more of in the future. I wanted to do a photoshoot with glitter and light painting, and this is what came out!
The glitter was applied with water, and the gemstones applied with liquid latex. Two lights were used, both covered with colored film, one behind Danielle, and one camera left. Two exposures were taken, one with flash, and one with a 13 second shutter speed and having Danielle sway to get the movement of glitter. I was unfortunately not able to paint with light in the shot (due to forces beyond my control) so previous light painted exposures were placed around Danielle and then given a blending mode.
