Family Portraits: Casali

After playing a very long running game of phone tag, I finally had the opportunity to photograph the Casali family-one of my first family portraits session in Normal Illinois!  The whole family was great to work with, even if the parents weren't planning on being photographed!  After some convincing, they joined in for a few family portraits, and they ended up looking fantastic.

We told the kids that there was a frog in the water and they were
trying so hard to find it!  It made for some wonderful photographs.

Overall I had forgotten how much fun I have doing family portraits, especially with kids.  We just made the whole session into a game and it couldn't have been more fun-or result in better photographs.  Thanks for choosing me for your family portraits Emily, you were great!

Family: Kawleski

Last summer I photographed the wonderful Kawleski family at Lensmire's Village Garden in Stevens Point. With all the ideas bouncing around, there was hardly a dull moment and the group was great to work with!

Thank you for the opportunity to photograph you family, I had so much fun working with you all, and know it will be just as fun in the future!

Portrait: Mason

This adorable baby is Mason. This will be the second time I have photographed him in his short life, and he gets cuter every time! Mason was great to work with, I wouldn't be surprised if he grew up to be a model! He was a very smiley, happy baby, and when I made the right sound with my mouth, he even looked at the camera!

Sara, thank you for letting me photograph your son for the second time. I look forward to a third and a fourth!

Kiara and Maddie

These two beautiful girls are Kiara and Maddie. Kiara and Maddie's mom was kind enough to let me practice my children portraits with them, and they taught me a lot! All in all it was a great shoot and a great experience. Courtney, thank you for allowing me to photograph and learn from your daughters, I hope the pictures were worth it!
